American Opportunity

I am insanely lucky to have been born in America.

I know you’ve heard it before, it’s the land of opportunity, it's full of possibilities, it's the land of the free.

Ya-ya-ya I get it, those are a bunch of great-sounding words, but what the hell does it actually mean!?

Well, imagine living 100 years ago. You would have just figured out that pooping in the river you drink from is unhealthy. Not only that, but you’d probably have to work on a farm or in a factory to be able to make ends meet.

At this time, Capitalism was corrupt and very beneficial to a few people in the 1%. They could pay their workers very low wages, only a little bit better than slavery.

The good news is that 90% of US citizens have a higher quality of life than the 1% of 100 years ago.

Think of it this way, the richest people in the world have the same cell phones as the middle class. Not only that, but they can buy numerous vacation houses to stay at all year round -- or AirBnB in most locations just like the middle class can.

The middle class has the same access to high-quality and organic food as the 1%, and if they don’t want to cook, any one of us can call up door dash and not leave our house for food.

This level of technological advancement creates an insane amount of opportunity in the world. This is because technology takes away all of the boring jobs out of humanity, and gives anyone access to the rest of the world via the internet.

If you told someone from 100 years ago that every single one of us current-day Americans has access to engage with anyone from around the world, they wouldn’t believe you.

Better yet, if you told a person from 100 years ago that anyone can make a living by building an audience and monetizing it, all with less than $1,000 USD to start……..

That historic person would literally kill to be in your position.

All in all, The middle class of America lives a substantially better life than the 1% of 100 years ago.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have been born in America, and have an outstanding family to raise me.

But there is one problem at hand….

Time is a finite resource. Everything else is at an unlimited supply and just takes work to gain.
